Two problems still need to be solved:
There is no power socket in the base cabinet of our fitted kitchen in the company meeting room. These are only above.
Does this mean that an additional hole needs to be drilled through the kitchen countertop for the power cord?
This causes optical problems.
How did other users solve this?

Thanks for your question.
We absolutely need electricity, otherwise it won't work. You could either have a socket installed under the sink, or perhaps connect power via an extension cable
The other option is to route it from top to bottom, but then there would be a hole at least as thick as the diameter of the power plug cable. You could separate the plug and then fit a new plug to it after running it through the hole.
