Is the Lourdes hydrogen generator a recommended product compared to other HRW generators

Lourdes generator for antioxidant hydrogen water | in comparison hydrogen booster from Paino

Hey Yasin, in the appendix Another thing I found, another supplier from Korea that deals with hydrogen water. They also offer a Lourdes generator, but not the same as the competition... it would actually be interesting to take that up. But take a look for yourself and see if it's something that's right for you or for the Aquacentrum. What do you make of it? Best regards, Maxim

Reply Yasin Akgün | to the question whether the Lourdes generator is not recommended for producing hydrogen water

Dear Maxim, thank you very much for your question.

My technical and subjective counterarguments to the Lourdes Generator HS 71 and Lourdes HS 81, which we even offer ourselves, would be:

  • The Lourdes hydrogen water generator has a water tank that is too large. You have to wait 30 minutes until you have acceptable levels of molecularly dissolved hydrogen gas in the water of 1200 ppb (Parts Per Billion) than 1,2 ppm (Parts Per Million)
  • This maximum achievable value, measured with the H2-Blue Kit® titration drops to determine molecularly dissolved hydrogen is 1,2 ppm. The reason for this is:
  • It cannot carry out electrolysis under pressure, which means that there is an upper limit of 1,2 ppm of molecularly dissolved hydrogen; more is simply not possible, for technical reasons.

However, it also has advantages, which is why we use it Lourdes hydrogen water generator now also at a special price of €1197,00 added to the range.

Alternatives to the Lourdes antioxidant hydrogen water generator

I have to mention that the purchase price of the hydrogen-water generators does not have to be that expensive, as the technology is by far the same as the technology that has been in use in practice for over 20 years now Flow-through water ionizer is inferior: The "hydrogen boosters" including the Lourdes generator and similar devices have much smaller electrodes, very small membrane surface, are very simple overall, and are typically battery-operated. The following are the hydrogen boosters that we have now tested in practice by our customers and that we particularly recommend; I don't know which one I think is better:

Our four available, partly battery-operated hydrogen generators to produce your own hydrogen water

We have other SPE-based hydrogen generators as test products. If necessary, we can also send these to you as a comparison product together with one of the products we recommend and you can make your own experiences and tests with them H2-Blue Kit® titration drops. Please contact us about this.

Asenbaum | testing through H2 Blue Kit® titration method

Lourdes hydrogen water generator - analysis by KH Asenbaum 700

Comment Lourdes Generator

Result with 1 liter and 15 minutes of operation with tap water Munich:

> Hydrogen concentration 1,0 ppm measured with H2 blue Kit titration drops

Comment from Karl Heinz Asenbaum:

Apart from the name, the Lourdes hydrogen generator has nothing to do with the source in the Catholic pilgrimage site, because it has nothing to do with hydrogen.

The hydrogen bubbles created within it are powerful. They are prevented from gassing out of the water by a floating plastic disc. However, unlike hydrogen boosters, no hydrogen pressure is built up. As always, I measure with an enrichment time of 15 minutes because within this period the hydrogen dissolves well even in harder water. Let's see the result measured with H2 Blue Kit® titration drops in time lapse. The eleventh drop no longer decolorizes, so we achieved a hydrogen concentration of 1,0 ppm. Since we have one liter of water here, this corresponds to a dose of 1 mg. This is definitely well above the recommended threshold of 0,5 milligrams and is therefore acceptable.
