Hello Mr Akgün,
The UMH Comfort is now installed, so it seems to be working.
I can therefore report that the water feels and tastes softer, even though the hardness of the water has not changed. I boiled a sample of the water before installing the UMH and a sample after installing it over and over again until the limescale became visible.
The UMH water had a clearly visible lime content compared to the non-UMH water.
Measuring with a TDS also brought a surprise:
the UMH water had about 50-60 ppm less. I also noticed that it takes a little while before you can notice the effect of the "better" water. So I'm very happy for now. I sent an email to the manufacturer about the water hardness (here 18°), which hasn't changed.
