Leak detector and shut-off valve for water ionizers, reverse osmosis and under-sink filters - 1/4” quick-fit connections
This mechanical shut-off valve protects your apartment, home or business from unwanted water damage. It automatically shuts off the incoming water supply as soon as the swelling pad detects a potential water leak through just a few drops of water. The pad is either glued using the double-sided adhesive strip or firmly attached to the bottom of the cabinet or the floor with screws.
Changing the pad
An extra pad is included. This may become necessary if water accidentally gets on the pad. To do this, turn the top part of the leak detector 45 degrees, the bayonet fitting will loosen and you will be able to access the pad. The pad must be replaced every time it comes into contact with the water and expands, shutting off the water supply.
