Questions about ECA Water | Anolyte, catholyte, neutral anolyte

Hallo,

I heard some time ago that Anolyt is an excellent disinfectant.
I've been researching this anolyte on the internet for a while now.
Of course you come to many pages with a wide variety of information
My primary concern is disinfection.

We have a mobile chicken coop with around 200 laying chickens. Of course there is a problem with the drinking water.
The water is filled into a storage container every 2.3 days and from there it runs to the drinking system.
Since the container is difficult to clean and a biofilm has already formed in the pipes, this could perhaps be removed with anolyte.
Now I read that there is the professional system from Envirolyte for this. These devices seem to be far too large for my use.
However, these produce the neutral anolyte. The devices for private use obviously only produce acidic anolyte or catholyte.

Where exactly is the difference in production between neutral and acid anolyte?
What are the benefits of neutral anolyte. (Acid anolyte should also disinfect much more strongly, low PH value - high redox value.
If you dilute an acidic anolyte with a pH value of approx. 3 with water 1/50, will the PH value remain?
Is basic disinfection necessary or is it enough to simply add something to the water?
If it is applied with a spray bottle (aerosol) (in the stable), should it be diluted or undiluted?

How should household ionizers be used here? You would also have the advantage that you can also drink alkaline water.

With kind regards,
Alois S.

Answer Yasin Akgün about properties of neutral anolyte and acidic anolyte

Hello Mr. S,

I'm terribly sorry for answering first
Your request is not easy.
But I'll try to answer you as best as I can:

The ECA Plus would be conceivable for you, we'll have to see how it will cope in an industrial environment, you still have a 5-year guarantee, I'm curious to see what experiences come with it.

The difference between neutral and acidic Anlogt is only the pH value and that the neutral Anlogt is a little weaker, but still strong enough
Neutral anloyt is less aggressive and does not change the pH value, which is often a requirement in animal husbandry or other areas.
The pH would change a little, but not by much.

It's best to take a look at what can be found in this manual about ECA water for poultry farming.

They would add more disinfectant at the beginning than later, would measure the hypochlorite content, and would always try to ensure that there is very little left in the water, directly at the drinker.
Here is a very good PDF:

Yes, the ECA Plus can provide you and also the chickens with alkaline drinking water
Calcification of the waterways can happen, so you would have to see whether it is an option in practice for the chickens, for you and your family.

Hope this helps you

All the best
Yours, Yasin Akgün
